To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Gundam series, Mobile Suit Gundam has teamed up with fragment, the design project led by Hiroshi Fujiwara, to introduce a high-end collector’s figure unlike any before. Enter the GFFMC RX-78FRGMT Gundam—a stunning fusion of Gundam’s legendary mechanical design and fragment’s minimalist, fashion-forward aesthetic.
 
The Gundam Fix Figuration Metal Composite (GFFMC) RX-78FRGMT Gundam will be available via lottery sales on the official Japanese Premium Bandai website, starting February 17, 2025. Winners will be notified in March 2025, and the figure is priced at 38,500 yen (tax included).
 
Prior to its online release, this exclusive model was first sold at the VA concept store in Omotesando, Tokyo, as part of the collaboration’s grand launch event, which ran from February 1 to February 24, 2025. The event showcased this unique take on the RX-78-2, drawing GunPla enthusiasts, diecast collectors, and streetwear aficionados into a world where mecha engineering meets contemporary design.
